- Peshawar is the capital of the Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Which is Situated near the eastern end of the Khyber Pass, which is close to the border with Afghanistan.
1. Qila Bala Hisar
In 1526 Babur first built a fort here It was royal residence of the “Afghan Durrani dynasty” before being captured.It is situated near LRH hospital Peshawar. It is open for public on Saturday and Sunday.
2. Islamia Collage Peshawar
Islamia college was established in Peshawar in 1913. The founder of Islamia college Peshawar was “Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum” Islamia collage is located on Grand Trunk Rd, Rahat Abad, Peshawa, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
3. Masjid Mahabat Ali khan
The Masjid Mahabat Ali khan is situated in Andar Shehr Mohallah Baqir Shah Peshawar, KPK. Masjid Mahabat Ali khan mosque was built in 1630. It is called Masjid Mahabat Ali khan because of Mughal governor of Peshawar, “Nawab Mahabat Khan bin Ali Mardan Khan” simply it is so called Masjid Mahabat Ali khan.
4. Qisa Khwani Bazar
Qisa Khwani Bazar is the old “Street of Storytellers”. The qissa khwani bazaar is famous for the story of tellers for merchants ,and massacre of 1930 by the “british government”. It having more than hundreds of shops and one of the best trade market in Peshawar. There is also a big market of Publishers near qisa khwani gate.
5. Namak Mandi Peshawar
A taste of Peshawar’s “Namak Mandi” is famous for the tasteee tikka and karahi. By flavoring their grilled meat and the most “karhai” dishes with salt and tomato. People came from far places even foreigner came here just for the taste of these recipe.
